The shot is relatively round and smooth - suggesting that it has not been fired. There is a sprue scar with two facets where the casting sprue was probably cut with nippers, and a casting seam is present. The colour of the ball is a pale grey / white. An incomplete cast copper-alloy buckle and plate dating to the Medieval period, c. 1250-1400 AD. Only part of the frame and the rectangular/square pin rest are still present. The offset spindle and pin are missing. The surfaces is pitted and very worn; no decoration is present. A more complete example was recorded under PUBLIC-1ABDF8 Similar buckles are illustrated by Whitehead (Whitehead 2003, nos. 112 and 114) which are also dated to the Medieval period.

An incomplete copper-alloy post-medieval oval buckle frame, dating to the period 1550-1650. The buckle is incomplete insofar as the attachments and pin are missing. This buckle has zoomorphic projections, although much of the decoration has since faded. The frame is broadly triangular in cross-section with a bevelled outer edge, measuring 45.51mm in length and 18.71mm in width. It is 3.34mm thick. An incomplete copper-alloy unidentified object of Early-Medieval date, c.AD 775 - 825. The object is sub-triangular with a broken apex, two possibly complete sides and a convex third edge. The upper surface is decorated with a chip carved interlace triquetra design and retains irregular patches of gilding. The reverse is flat and undecorated. The metal has a mid-green patina and is worn. The object is 22.3mm long, 14mm wide, 2mm thick and weighs 1.9g. A similar object has also been recorded from Dunton, Norfolk (NMS-9B21A4).
