A complete, corroded and misshapen copper-alloy needle of unknown date (c. AD 43-1800). This shaft is circular in cross-section and the eye is flat. The eye has been squashed widthways but appears to have originally been an elongated pear (piriform) shape, wider at the bottom. It has a sharp point. The needle is green and corroded overall. Length: 66.5mm; length if straightened: c. 105.0mm; maximum diameter before flattening: 3.1mm. Weight: 3.48g.

A fragment of a Late Roman copper-alloy zoomorphic dolphin buckle (c. AD 300-c. 400). Hawkes and Dunning type IIA (Hawkes and Dunning 1961: 52, figs. 17-18). This fragment of the frame is convex at the front, flat at the rear and is one of two confronting dolphins. The surviving part forms half of the outer edge and part of one side. The head, part of the outer edge, is rounded and has a gaping mouth. The eye is just visible. The side forming the body and crest taper in width from the head towards an abraded break. Williamson (1967, 1035) Southwark see no. 352, Thompson and Dickinson (1996, Pl. 37) nos 5078a-b, dated 1657 (on token). An incomplete copper-alloy object, possibly part of an Iron Age to Roman harness ring or related object (c. 300 BC-c. AD 100). This fragment would have been circular in plan with a diameter of c. 30.0mm prior to being broken. It is convex at the front and concave at the rear. The central parallel sided hole has a diameter of 15.6mm. Halfway between the central hole and the outer edge there is a circumferential step. An incomplete post-Medieval copper-alloy mount (1600-1700). This mount is sub-circular in plan, moulded at the front and flat at the rear. It is in the form of a twelve-pointed star. Each ray is plano-convex, and a wedge-shaped groove runs between each one. There are the stubs of two spikes at the rear. The mount has a white metal coating at the front and rear. Maximum diameter: 19.9mm; thickness: 2.8mm. Weight: 3.29g. Compare with LIN-CA3DD2.
