A copper-alloy core from a plated silver denarius of Severus Alexander (AD 222-235) dating to the period c.AD 226 (Reece period 11). AEQVITAS AVG reverse type depicting Aequitas standing left holding scales and cornucopiae. Mint of Rome. Cf. BMC p. 148 no. 329; RIC IV.2 p. 81, no. 127. Traces of silvering remain on both the obverse and reverse of the coin. Diameter: 18.8mm: Thickness: 2.5mm. Weight: 2.2g.

An almost complete early post-medieval copper-alloy dress hook. The object is in the form of an openwork moulded trefoil knot, known as a Hungerford knot, seemingly plain on the front; the reverse is flat. The attachment loop is formed of a trapezoidal bar with lobed ends, connected to the body at each end by a moulded boss. The hook is distorted and it appears the hook is short and has probably broken of in antiquity. The object appears to have a degraded brown patina. A complete Cast unifaced circular lead alloy token. The token is decorated on the obverse side with the initial in capital K. The reverse is blank. The token is 17.68 mm in diameter, 2.30 mm thick and weighs 4.1 grams. Lead tokens with simple designs are very easy to make and continued in use for a long period; those with initials are generally thought to date to the post medieval period. (1550-1800AD).

A complete Medieval to Post Medieval cast lead circular unifaced token (1250-1800 AD). The token has been cast with a raised design of a equal arm cross with a pellet in each quarter on the obverse and a flat, undecorated reverse. The token measures 18.78 mm in diameter, 1.51 mm thick and weighs 3.3 grams. Lead tokens had a wide variety of uses and were made locally; they are therefore hard to date precisely and could be Medieval or Post Medieval in date (1250-1800 AD). A copper-alloy conical disc type brooch dating to AD 100-200. The brooch has a circular centre with four projecting knops with waisted middles at right angle intervals around the outer edge. The centre has a raised conical section surrounded by concentric circles. There is a circular depression in the middle of the rise. A white metal coating survives around the conical feature. A fragment of a Roman copper alloy T-shaped hinged brooch dating to circa AD 50-150. The foot, the catchplate and most of the bow are missing. Within the cylindrical wings is an iron axis bar, and in the centre is an open groove where the now missing pin would have been attached. The curved bow is D-shaped in cross-section and tapers gently towards the missing foot, with decorative moulding along the crest. Overall the brooch is 12.89mm long, 19.94mm wide and 4.42mm thick. It weighs 1.64g.

An fragment of a Roman copper alloy brooch (probably Hod Hill type) dating to circa AD 43-75. The head, most of the bow and the end of the catchplate are missing. Along the front of the foot of the bow are three incised decorative ring-and-dots. Overall the brooch is 21.14mm long, 7.79mm wide and 4.43mm thick. It weighs 1.34g.

A complete late Iron Age silver unit struck for Verica of the Atrebates and Regni, dating c. 10-40 AD, of Rudd's 'Verica Tiberius' type. Reverse; naked figure standing left, holding lituus in right hand and bunch of grapes in upheld right hand, 'COM' to left of figure, 'MI F' to right. ABC p. 73, no. 1250. The coin has been well struck and is preserved in extremely good condition, with only slight blackening of surfaces in evidence.
