A incomplete cast copper-alloy single-looped buckle frame from the Medieval period, (c.1350-1450). It consists of a D-shaped frame with expanded sides and narrowed and recessed strap bar. The strap bar is of circular cross section, has a groove midway with iron staining suggesting the use of a iron pin. The outer frame has a pointed knop pin rest with multiple grooves . The pin is missing. It has a length of 17.58 mm, is 22.77 mm wide and has a thickness of 3.40 mm. The object weighs 1.995 grams and has a shiny olive green patina. A similar example can be seen on LVPL-CASE3F.

Roman copper-alloy brooch fragment, consisting of the incomplete spring case and part of the bow only. It appears to be a Polden Hill type, and the bow is decorated with two incised grooves flanking a central ridge which widens out at the head. It measures 17.1mm in width and is 10.1mm long and weighs 2.0g. The item is very worn and has a dark green/brown patination. There is a similar brooch in Mackreth plate 54, no. 1649, which is undated, although this type are usually late 1st to mid 3rd century.

Post-medieval lead weight, plano-convex, circular but with the edge extended around an obliquely driven suspension hole. Height 41.7mm. Width or diameter 38mm. Thickness 9.2mm. Weight 77.09g / 2.4785oz troy, so possibly for 2½ ounces, but if the object is for use with a steelyard then its weight is not significant. Fine engraved straight lines on the flat face are doodles. Perhaps 16th - 18th century.

The frame is 'D' shaped, the sides expanding to a sloping outer face.From thee upper end of the plate springs a 'U' shaped tab, folded around the axis bar, the central slit having originally accommodated the now-missing pin. At the frame end, the plate is heart shaped and has an in situ copper-alloy rivet near its centre. At the non-frame end, the plate has a rectangular area, again with aan off-centre rivet. Incomplete, distorted and worn Roman copper alloy penannular bracelet, a strip with one extant pointed terminal. Decoration comprises a line of punched ring-and-dots over most of the length. These end at a transverse engraved line beyond which are two short longitudinal lines, a second transverse line and lastly a single ring-and-dot before the terminal. Extant length 78mm. Width 2.7mm at the break. Maximum width 4.8mm. Thickness 1mm. 3rd - 4th century.

A short straight part of the outer edge suggests manufacture in a multiple mould. Possibly used in the suspension of drapes (Egan 1998, 62-4). Mid 14th - 16th century.

A cast copper-alloy acorn-shaped strap mount from the post-Medieval period, c.1500 - 1700 AD. the seed has a knop to the top with a horizontal band below. The copular appears to have had grooved bark effect decoration which has degraded and there is a projecting spur to the base. The back is flat and plain with one complete attachment rivet; the other rivet has broken in antiquity, with only a short section surviving. Probably medieval lead probable pot mend. The uncertainties of identification and dating are caused by the oddness of the form. One plate is elongated, shapeless and now not curved, 40 x 17mm, and it is attached two small circular plates, diameter 10 - 11mm. The gaps suggest pottery c.2mm thick. Perhaps 11th - 15th century.

Worn fragment of a medieval gilt copper alloy furniture fitting, a D-sectioned binding strip from a casket, broken at one end and with a pierced, rounded and flat lobe at the other. Gilding survives only in two oblique grooves on the front face, which now stand slightly proud of the surrounding surface. Extant length 42mm. Width 3.8 - 6.1mm. Thickness 2mm. 12th - 13th century.
