A complete and corroded Early-Medieval (Anglo-Saxon) copper-alloy buckle pin (c. 450-c. 600). This pin is convex at the front and mainly flat at the rear. The shaft has parallel sides and a down-turned tip. At the front, the shaft is divided from the loop by three transverse parallel ridges. The middle ridge is larger than the other two. The loop is fully enclosed. This buckle-pin is reddish brown with green corrosion products. Length: 29.5mm; width: 8.0mm; thickness: 7.6mm. Weight: 6.75g.

An incomplete Roman copper-alloy zoomorphic plate horse brooch (AD 100-200). The nose and the tail end of the brooch are missing. The pin is also missing. This brooch is flat at the front and rear. It is roughly 'L'-shaped in plan with curving sides. The shape probably represents a form of a stylised with head, neck, body and front leg. Incomplete medieval cast copper alloy pin from an annular framed buckle, with part of the loop missing. A very robust example with a thick D-section shank which, next to the loop, is 5.9mm wide and 7mm thick. Near the blunt point on the flat underside there is a slight hollow to accomodate the frame. A copper-alloy thimble of Medieval date. It is dome-shaped in form with relatively straight sides that curve inwards at the shoulder towards a rounded top. The thickened rim is undecorated, above which the sides have multiple unevenly spaced circular indentations. At the shoulder the indentations begin to spiral towards a bare tonsure. The entire object measures 11.03mm in height, 14.55mm in diameter at rim, 0.47mm in thickness at rim, and 1.47g in weight. An incomplete copper-alloy buckle frame of probable Medieval date. Only the outer edge survives, the remainder now missing due to old breaks. The outer edge is rectangular in from and section with rabbetts at each corner. It has decoration on the front face comprising a grooved border within which are four evenly spaced diagonal grooves each separated by a short transverse groove. Incomplete Middle Iron Age bow brooch with the pin, the head, the upper end of the bow, part of the terminal missing. The breaks are not ancient. The D-sectioned bow is engraved with lines, a median pair running down to a transverse triplet and dividing two sets of multiple oblique. A cast copper-alloy zoomorphic end cap from a scale-tang knife of Post-Medieval date. It is oval in section, bifuricated, with each out-turned arm in the form of a horse's hoof. A fragment from the foot of a cast copper-alloy cooking vessel of Medieval or later date. The base of the leg is rectangular in form, triangular in cross section, flaring at the base to a flattened triangular foot with projecting toes. All surfaces have the remains of relatively thick black sooting resultant from exposure to high temperatures. This fragment measures 42.73mm in length, 32.38mm in width, 11.49mm in thickness, and 48.14g in weight. It is of probable later Medieval to early Post-Medieval date, c.14th-16th centuries AD.
