An incomplete post-Medieval copper-alloy spherical animal 'crotal' bell (1600-1800). Part of the lower hemisphere is missing due to a break. The sub-rectangular suspension loop at the top is about 13.5mm long, 16.4mm wide, 3.7mm thick and has an inverted 'U'-shaped aperture. The upper and lower hemispheres are divided by a prominent horizontal circumferential joining rib. At either side of the suspension loop, about half way down the side of the upper hemisphere, is a circular sound hole. Two sound holes in the lower hemisphere are integral with a sound 'slit'. An incomplete post-Medieval copper-alloy finger-ring (c. 1500-c. 1700). The lower part of the hoop is missing due to two breaks. The square bezel is deep and the setting is missing. The walls of the bezel are 'pinched' at each side in order to secure a setting. Decoration at the shoulders is in the form of a lozenge with three parallel ridges below. A fragment of an Early-Medieval (Anglo-Saxon) copper-alloy strap or belt fitting of the Quoit Brooch 'School' (c. 410-c. 500). This object is made of sheet copper-alloy. It is rectangular in plan, curved in profile and is part of the end of the hollow fitting. At the convex front it is decorated with horizontal and vertical grooves and ridges (ribbed). The object has a green patina and the breaks are old. Height: 12.0mm; width: 14.4mm; thickness: 1.0mm. Weight: 1.28g. Compare with a near complete fitting: IOW-39F248.

An incomplete Iron Age to Roman copper-alloy La Tene III brooch (c. AD 20-100). The pin and most of the catch-plate are missing. The head consists of an integrally cast spring made up of four coils with an internal chord looped around the reverse of the head. The pin projected from one of the coils. The bow is circular in cross-section at the top but becomes flattened at the sides lower down creating a flat catch-plate. Early medieval copper alloy strap end, probably dating to the period c.AD 800-1066. The strap end is D shaped in cross section and tapers from a maximum width of 5.8mm at the attachment end to 3mm at the distal end. This terminal features worn zoomorphic decoration in the form of an animal head with protruding eyes. Three further ring and dot motifs or annulets are at the upper edge of the coin. Either side of the trophy are rectangles with saltires within.
