Post Medieval cast copper alloy trade weight from the reign of James I or II (1603-1688). The weight is circular with a wide raised rim on the top. It is 38mm in diameter by 3.69mm thick and weighs 21.51 grams, 0.758 oz (equivalent three quarters of an ounce).
It is stamped with: Crowned I (for James I) at 11 o'clock; the sword of St Paul (for London) at 1 o'clock and an ewer (for the founders company) at 7 o'clock

Early Medieval strap fitting in the form of a copper alloy bar originally secured by an iron rivet at each end. The bar has a flat, rectangular section and is divided into five zones, plain at each end and in the centre, between these are two zone where the section narrows and is marked by two narrow, transverse ribs. While this object resemble a sleeve clasp it lacks a hook or eye and the form of the fitting, with two rivets, is not that used on sleeve clasps. The best parallels are the belt stiffeners from Fairford Gloucestershire, Grave 7 (McGregor and Bolick, 1993, 212, No. 36.10)…
