Medieval (1198 to 14th centuries) harness pendant: The copper-alloy pendant is a shield-shape. It has a perforated lug protruding from the upper edge which is cast perpendicular to the pendant, and within in the loop has a trace of an iron wire. The outer face of the pendant is decorated with a heraldic design whose field has traces of red (gules) enamel. An incomplete Medieval copper-alloy domed ('beehive') closed thimble (c. 1350-c. 1450). This thimble is circular in plan and the walls taper inwards from the base towards the crown. The outer face has vertical lines of sub-circular indentations/drilled pits on the lower half with horizontal lines above. These horizontal lines continue over the top to form concentric rings. All the indentations are similar and the walls are very thin. The outer face of this thimble is broadly green with a green patina in places. An incomplete cast copper alloy T-shaped (initial) brooch with tapering bow. The wings are tubular and house an copper alloy axis bar for a hinged pin mechanism. A copper-alloy handle from a toilet knife. The handle is three-dimensional and depicts what is probably a mythical creature. The top of the head is rounded and extends into a long muzzle.
