Incomplete cast copper alloy Post Medieval blunt hooked clasp. Oval-shaped body tapering to a blunt rectangular hook at one end. Pierced lugs on either side of the body and at the non-hooked end, but one side and the end lug are both missing through damage. The front face is decorated with a gilt floral design and the hooked end curves back towards this face. Reed Class A, type 2. Post Medieval, circa 1550-1650 AD.

Front part of a medieval gilt sheet copper alloy trapezoidal buckle plate broken across the fold, with a pin slot, frame recesses and three rivet holes, one in the centre near the pin slot and two, with rivets, near the inside edge. Length 21.5mm. Width 17mm at the inside edge - 15.2mm at the fold. 13th - 14th century.

A medieval ring made of copper alloy. It has a gilded finish still visible around the bezel and in the concave surfaces of the shoulders. The bezel is rectangular with curved top and bottom edges,it has an inset intaglio which is surrounded by a pattern of small circles. The design on the intaglio could be a 'crown of thorns' which,if so, may indicate that this is a pilgrim ring. The hoop is broken but does not appear to be a split hoop. There are no markings on the inside surface.

Incomplete post-medieval copper alloy domed and hooked sword belt fitting. The missing sheet back plate would have been secured by an integral and an iron rivet. The dome is facetted externally, and the hook is engaged with a trefoil attachment link. The form is close to Read 2008, no. 813, but there is a collar with a transverse groove above the hook. Length or height 50mm. Width 20.9mm. Length of link 18.5mm. 17th century.

Incomplete post-medieval copper alloy spur side (almost certainly a rowel spur), with an elaborate terminal, on which there is pair of asymmetrically set perforations, a third round perforation near the centre, and two oblique engraved lines ending in notches on the edge. The oval-sectioned side is angled, with an oblique line on the outer face near the angle. Quiter close to Ellis, B. in Ellis 1993, 165, fig. 112, no. 2. Extant length 72.5mm. The side is 8.5mm wide and 3.5mm thick. First half 17th century.

Post-medieval copper alloy double-looped buckle frame, both loops trapezoidal with a lobe at the ends of the bar. Very close to Whitehead 2003, no. 505. Rust on the bar and one edge suggests an iron plate and/or pin. Length and width 23.4 and 24.6mm. c.1570 - c.1700.

Incomplete and very worn Middle Saxon to Late Saxon copper alloy strap end with the attachment end missing. The lower part of the split end is present. Thomas 2003, Class A. Most decorative details have been lost. There are indications that the main body comprised three longitudinal fields. These, along with the moulded sides and the squat proportions suggest that this a Type 5 (with inlaid niello and silver wire), and was once similar to ibid. fig. 1 no. 12. Extant length 27.6mm. Width 13.5mm. Thickness 1mm. 9th century.
