A fragment from a cast, copper alloy, vessel / pot leg, c AD1350-c1650. The fragment comes from the foot of the leg. The foot is simply the rounded end of the leg and is undecorated. In cross section the leg is roughly a trapezium, and the leg tapers towards the foot. The leg has a dark green patina with patches of orange corrosion on the rear. The fragment is 28mm tall, 22mm wide and 13mm thick, it weighs 20.3g.

A complete lead alloy medieval pilgrim's ampulla, dating from c. AD 1350-1530. The bowl is semi-circular in plan and the neck is sub-rectangular in cross-section flaring outwards at the top. The flask is decorated on one face with a flower. The flower has a central pellet and 11 petals of which those on the lower half are very worn. Surrounding the flower the edge of the bowl on this face is decorated with a zig-zag band within a curvilinear border. A fragment of a post-Medieval copper-alloy double-looped buckle (c. 1620-c. 1680). The pin and one loop are missing. When complete the frame would have been symmetrical and each loop would have been trapezoidal in plan. An incomplete copper alloy dolphin brooch of Roman date, AD 75-175. The object is almost complete and would have been a sprung example. The bow is comma-shaped in profile, D-shaped in section, and tapers to a rounded foot. Only one wing remains due to ancient damage. The remaining wing is semi-cylindrical and short. The bow rises from the top of the wings sweeping in an arc towards the foot. There is no visible decoration on the surface of the bow. An incomplete copper-alloy early Post Medieval blunt-hooked eye. The main body of the mount is sub oval in plan with a transverse rectangular attachment eye at one end and a lingulate shaped projection at the other. Around the edge of the body there are four circular attachment loops, two on each side. On the front face the clasp is decorated in moulded relief with a draped facing human bust with loops projecting up from the ears and sub-oval projections hanging down from the ears. An incomplete copper alloy bow and fantail brooch, AD 70-150. The head and wings of the brooch are missing due to an ancient break. Below where the head would have attached the bow flares into a circular setting. The central circular setting surrounded by a circumferential groove, has a raised central dome with a central pellet. An incomplete copper alloy disc brooch dating to the Roman period (AD 200 - AD 350). The brooch consists of a circular disc plate with an incomplete outer edge and concentric circular ridge inside. The space between the ridge and the outer edge is decorated with a series of 'C' shapes all the way around. The centre of the plate is decorated with a conical shaped boss. An incomplete copper-alloy and gilded unidentified object, possibly of post-Medieval date. This object is moulded at the front and flat at the rear. It is in the form of a stylised flower with a pair of flaring petals and three down-turned sepals. On the rear face, behind the sepals, there is a circular feature which is possibly the scar of an integral rivet or spike. There is a break at each end. The object is gilded at the front, green and plain at the rear. Length: 26.0mm; width: 15.5mm; thickness: 4.4mm. Weight: 4.12g.

A fragment from the rim of a cast copper alloy vessel, c AD1350-c1650. The fragment is undecorated. The rim is a semi-oval in profile, protuding outwards only. The rim is 4.4mm thick at its widest, whereas the vessel wall varies in thickness from 3.0mm to 3.5mm. The fragment is light green all over. The fragment is 33mm wide, and 30mm tall, it weighs 12.6g.

Cast copper alloy finger ring with a circular hoop and a sub-rectangular bezel with a recessed setting but missing the stone that would have been held in it. The profile of the ring is like a stirrup-shaped type. Typical stirrup-shaped finger rings, that are earlier in date, have a bezel with raised sides to produce a setting to hold a stone. This bezel would have been incised to order, as these rings were mass-produced in the 19th century.
