Incomplete Roman tin-coated copper alloy round, enamel inlaid plate brooch with the spring, the pin, part of the catchplate and parts of the edge missing. Mackreth 2011, British Plate 3.a3. Cf. Hattatt 2000, fig. 203, nos. 1027-8. Some enamel, possibly once red, remains in a central round cell but two concentric annular cells are empty. There is a 6mm gap within the double pin lug. Diameter 24mm. 2nd century.

A fragment of a post-medieval cast copper-alloy mortar. The irregular piece retains a curvature consistent with the original form. Decorating the outer surface is a relief-moulded crest featuring the left-facing head and neck of a stag. A copper-alloy zoomorphic head, dating from the post-medieval period. The piece takes the form of a three-dimensional representation of serpent-like creature. The sub-cylindrical head has a pair of incised eyes and is decorated by means of a series of grooves, punched curves and incuse pellets.
