A very corroded and worn probable Roman nummus, dating to the period AD c.330 - 402. The coin has a diameter of 17.81 mm with a thickness of 1.85 mm, and weighs 2.100 grams. The object has a patchy green and brown patina with some impacted soil. There is little visible detail.

An incomplete copper-alloy Roman Hod Hill type brooch, dating from the mid to late 1st century AD.
The head comprises two tabs which spring from the top of the bow and terminate at the top in the remains of an axis bar cylinder with attached iron corrosion. The bar and pin are both missing, but the latter would have been attached to the former via the slit between the two head tabs. A transverse ridge, moulded in high relief, marks the top of the bow; at its base, this ridge slopes gradually downwards; located beneath it are two lower transverse ridges and a dividing groove.Below…

Very worn, corroded and incomplete copper alloy Roman coin, possibly a radiate. Damage has reduced the size of the flan and modified it to a piriform shape. The obverse appears to have a bust facing right but the form of headdress cannot be determined. Reverse cannot be resolved. Circa 43-400 AD.

A post-medieval copper-alloy 17th-century token farthing issued by Thomas Bridle of Blandford Forum, Dorset. Williamson (1967, 171) Dorset no. 10, dated 1659 (on token).
It measures 15.23mm in diameter, 0.44mm in thickness and weighs 0.443g. On both faces the legend begins between around 10 and 11 o'clock. The two circumferential curved removals appear to be the result of cutting the blanks, as sometimes seen with jettons, rather than losses through use.

A copper-alloy seal matrix of Medieval, probably 13th century AD, date. The object is circular in plan with a pierced integral attachment loop projecting from the rear. This lug is semi-circular in profile and rectangular when viewed from above. On the front of the object the legend surrounds a central device. The legend is not particularly well engraved; it reads CREDE MIChI (Believe in Me), a common anonymous inscription of the 14th century. The letter Es in the legend are rounded (lombardic). There are three dots and two space-filling Xs after the end of the legend.

A complete copper-alloy post-medieval coin weight dating to AD 1720-1740. The coin weight is circular and bifaced and would have been used to measure a fraction of a Portuguese gold moidore, plausibly a quarter denomination given the mass of the weight. The obverse is inscribed MOIDO[...] above a letter W. A denominational value is above the inscription but is unclear. The reverse depicts a voided cross potent with a four petalled floral ornament in each angle.
The object measures 16mm in diameter, and weighs 1.86g.

An incomplete post-medieval copper-alloy and glass seal matrix (c. 1700-c. 1800). The object consists of an oval copper-alloy frame which holds a bevelled oval white glass intaglio. The depicts a lion rampant facing right in intaglio on a twisted rope base; it would face left on the impression.
The frame is light green with corrosion products. There is a small fragment of the seal-handle present on the intaglio frame remaining. The glass intaglio is chipped and cracked.

A uniform button of the Petworth Volunteers dating from the period 1797-1803. The inscription PETWORTH . VOLUNTEERS ., starts at about 7 o'clock and fills all of a border enclosed by lines around a central crown in low relief. The reverse has a maker's name around a separately applied circular loop. It reads WILLIAM WILLIAMS and is also towards the circumference travelling around the reverse in low relief.
It measures 20mm in diameter, 1mm in thickness and weighs 2g.

An incomplete Late Iron Age to early Roman (AD 20-80) copper-alloy Colchester one-piece brooch missing the spring, pin and catchplate. The wings are rectangular in cross section and only part of the forward facing hook remains. The bow tapers from 4.8mm to 1.4mm at the foot and is oval in cross section. The catchplate is damaged.
The brooch is 41.1mm long, 6.7mm wide and 22.3mm thick. 3.06g. It has a brown colour with patches of a bright turquoise patina in places. The brooch is similar to WILT-025937 and BERK-B77E52.

An incomplete copper alloy Roman T-shaped brooch dating from about AD 50 - 150. The lower bow, most of the pin and the head loop are missing.
The brooch has rolled wings to form a tubular housing for the copper alloy axis bar and a slot for the hinged pin. Only the head of the pin survives. There are also stubs for an integral missing head loop. The front of the wings are decorated with transverse lines. The bow is oval in cross-section, flaring into the wings at the head.
