A complete post-Medieval copper-alloy spherical animal 'crotal' bell (c. 1600-c. 1800). The sub-rectangular suspension loop at the top is 10.9mm high, 12.3mm wide, 5.4mm thick and has a circular shaped perforation. The upper and lower hemispheres are divided by a prominent central horizontal circumferential joining rib. A Post Medieval silver seal matrix probably dating from AD 1600 - 1800. Only the face of the matrix survives and it is oval with a faceted hexagonal handle behind, broken across the rectangular sectioned stem. An incomplete silver medieval book clasp dating from AD 1350 - 1450, with a rigid integrally cast plate, rather than the more usual hinged attachment plate. A silver probable needle of unknown date, probably Roman to Post Medieval, AD 43 - 1700. It is broken across the head, so that most of the eye is missing. The needle is rectangular in cross-section, tapering to a point at the tip. It has a groove on both faces below the eye. It is badly bent about half way along. The needle is 50.4mm long as bent, 4.5mm across the broken head, and 1.5mm thick. 3.48g. It would have been more than 80mm long when straight. There are no visible hallmarks or maker's marks. A copper alloy, enamelled T-shaped mount which comes from the arm of a processional crucifix or altar cross of 13th century date. A part of the arm is missing. A rivet hole is present in the centre of the top edge of the cross bar. The plaque was produced at the Limoges enamel factory in Aquitaine, southwest France, and shows a wing of a figure, and the edge of what is probably a halo. A single disc from a pair of silver cuff links of 17th century date. The surviving single cufflink element is a circular fastener or button with a flange around the edge and a hollow reverse. The attachment loop is missing. It is decorated in counter-relief with a pair of hearts beneath a crown on a stippled or cross-hatched ground. The disc is 14.1mm diameter, 2.6mm thick and 1.63g. Copper alloy T-shaped brooch that has tubular wings which hold the pin axes bar, there is a slot in the centre rear of the wings for the pin, the pin is missing. A truncated loop surmounts the head of the brooch, at the apex of the bow central ridge that runs down the remaining length of the brooch. The lower part of the leg is truncated resulting in the loss of the catch plate.
