Medieval (mid 12th to mid 14th centuries) bar mount. The mount has a central, perforated lobe. Protruding from opposite edges of the central lobe, there is an arm which is semi-circular in section, tapers slightly and terminates with a bulbous knop, containing a rivet hole and the remains of a copper alloy rivet in each. The reverse is flat and undecorated. The surface of the mount has an incomplete dark green/grey patina. The mount measures 18.83mm long, 6.92mm wide and 3.27mm thick. It weighs 0.93g. The base is abraded and incomplete, and there is a possible rivet hole at the edge. At the base the void is 13.11mmx12.46mm on the interior, and the wall varies between 3.2mm and 2mm thick. Post Medieval (17th to 19th century) probably tankard lid: The copper alloy lid is circular in plan, and domed in profile. At the apex there is an integral handle which has concave sides, and at the terminal flares outwards to form a circular platform. A complete post-Medieval iron and gilded watch winder (c. 1800-c. 1900). This winder is in the form of an annular ring with a terminal knop and the remains of a pin at the opposite end. The pin is contained within a double-grooved globular housing. The knop has a raised scrolled/floriate design and the outer face of the ring has oblique grooves. The winder is slightly worn.
