A complete struck / hammered silver half groat of the Commonwealth period AD 1649 to AD 1660. The coin has been bent in two directions, forming an S shape. From the obverse, at an angle of 45 degrees from right to left, the lower third is bent backwards, and the upper third is bent forward. Bending coins in such a manner is often associated with 'love tokens' and was common during the later post-medieval period. An incomplete and undecorated Bronze Age copper-alloy Picardy pin (1400 BC-1250 BC). This object is circular in cross-section throughout its length with a cell/recess at the top and a swollen shaft. At the top, the sides of the cell are vertical. From here the sides taper inwards and then flare outwards before gently tapering inwards towards a transverse break at the bottom. Close to the break a tiny projection may be the reamains of a loop. The depth of the cell is 3.1mm. There is no indication of any decorative material within the cell. An incomplete copper-alloy cross crosslet mount or badge of Post-Medieval date. It is formed from a flat sheet of copper-alloy. The front face has a border composed of a single incised/engraved groove that traces the exterior edge of the badge. On the reverse side is a rust mark centrally located for an attachment - such as a clasp or pin. This mount measures 13.89 mm in length, 14.45mm in width, 0.81mm in thickness, 0.84g in weight. A post-Medieval copper-alloy strap mount. The mount is of flat section and has bevelled edges. The trapezoidal central portion is surmounted by a trefoil apex, and a circular feature is located at the base. Two rivets project backwards from the flat reverse, one at the top and one near the bottom. Both of these rivets have been deliberately bent outwards, presumably to secure them to the now-missing strap. Length: 37.7mm; width: 13.7mm; thickness: 2.5mm. Weight: 5.7g.

A copper-alloy double-loop buckle, dating from the post-Medieval period. A central axis bar separates the two sub-trapezoidal sides of the frame. A lobe projects from each of the four corners of the flat-sectioned frame, with a further lobe at either end of the axis bar. A pointed pin rest projects outwards from the centre of both of the vertical sides. The horizontal groove for each pin rest cuts across a vertical groove that extends the full width of the frame. An unidentified copper-alloy object. The main feature of the object is a bar, which is of rectangular cross section, its height gradually increasing towards a wedge-shaped end. A short distance beyond halfway, there is an oval moulding in the upper surface of this bar. The lower end of the bar terminates in an angled, roughly semi-circular plate. Length: 33.7mm; width: 21.3mm; height: 10.1mm. Weight: 7.35g. The general form and colour of this piece suggest a prehistoric to Roman date.

A copper-alloy mount of probable Roman date. The solid-cast mount is sub-conical, flaring towards the top, where there is a sub-globular finial with incuse pellet at its apex. A patch of iron corrosion is situated at the centre of the flat underside and probably represents the remains of a shaft or rivet. Length: 21.5mm; width: 12.2mm. Weight: 11.42g. A similar piece, described as a possible handle terminal, is no. 4656 from a Late Roman context in Colchester (Crummy 1983: 168/Fig. 204).

An incomplete copper-alloy Hod Hill type brooch, dating from the mid to late 1st century AD.
