An incomplete Early-Medieval (Anglo-Saxon) copper-alloy buckle pin (c. 450-c. 600). The loop is largely missing. This tapering pin is 'D'-shaped in cross-section and the tip is down-turned. The swollen/enlarged head is flat at the end and the top edge is indented with six notches. There are the remains of an imbedded iron loop on the underside. The pin has a green patina with small areas of corrosion. Length: 28.9mm; width: 11.2mm; thickness: 9.3mm. Weight: 7.01g.

A complete copper alloy thimble likely dating to the Late Medieval period c. AD 1350-1550. The thimble is either cast domed or beehive shaped, with horizontal rows of uneven, hand-stamped round indentations, continuing in an arrangement of concentric rings, beginning as a spiral at the top of the thimble. There is a horizontal plain band at the base of the thimble 3.1mm high bordering the opening. The object is damaged slightly at the top where the indentations have created small perforations. The thimble is 21.3mm high, 20.6mm in diameter, 0.9mm thick and weighs 5.71g.
