Cast copper alloy fragment of a double-looped buckle frame, oval in plan, with moulded decoration on the surviving outer edge. The frame is convex at the front and flat at the rear which can be seen in the broken section. At the outside edge of the frame there is a moulded rosette with a raised central pellet, but within these, there is no groove or evidence for a pin rest. A Medieval copper alloy harness pendant of c. AD 1200-1400 date. The pendant is a "heater" shield shaped type with a broken pierced projecting lug on the top that forms the suspension loop. The surface of the pendant is very corroded but appears to have once been decorated with a chevron. The remains of red enamel can be seen on the surface. The pendant is 34.4mm long, 19.9mm wide, 1.9mm thick and weighs 3.54 grams.
