A copper-alloy chatelaine, possibly of post-Medieval date (c. 1500-c. 1850).
This object is flat with curving sides and is cusped at the top and bottom. From the top, the sides taper in to a waist, then flare to a maximum width of 20.8mm and then taper to the bottom. At the top are three horizontal circular suspension holes. There are four similar holes at the bottom and one contains an 'S'-shaped copper-alloy wire hook. Both faces have a similar stamped design which consists of an oval containing flower heads. There is also a flower head in each corner at the bottom.

This single-loop frame is 'D'-shaped in cross-section. It is 'D'-shaped in plan and has a slightly expanded edge. It has an offset and narrowed bar which is square in cross-section.
The frame is reddish brown.

A complete post-Medieval copper-alloy mount (1600-1700).
This mount is sub-oval in plan and waisted at the centre with expanded ends. It is convex at the front and has an indeterminate design. The rear face is flat and has two tapering spikes, one at each end. These are rectangular in cross-section.
The mount is green and has traces of gilding at the front.
Length: 23.6mm; width: 11.3mm; thickness: 2.7mm; thickness including spikes: 18.4mm. Weight: 4.91g.
A similar mount from South Somerset has been published and dated c. 17th century (Read 2001: 28, fig. 21. ref: 313).

A fragment from the stem of a copper alloy Post-Medieval seal top spoon. Only the terminal of the stem survives. This has a disk terminal below which is a knop, followed by a narrow collar and then part of the circular cross-sectioned, thin stem. It is probably of later 16th or 17th century date (Moore 2005, 7-9).
