An incomplete post-Medieval sheet copper-alloy closed thimble (1730-1800). This thimble has a domed crown and sloping sides with a deep plain rim. Most of the rim is missing. It has machine stamped circumferential horizontal circular indentations on the walls and a waffle pattern on the crown. Height: 16.1mm; width: 16.3mm; width: 13.4mm. Weight: 2.49g. An incomplete post-Medieval sheet copper-alloy closed thimble (c. 1800-c. 1900). This thimble has a thickened rim, sloping sides and the crown is missing. It has circumferential horizontal lines of circular indentations on the walls. The rim is plain. The outer surface of the thimble is reddish brown with light green corrosion products. Height: 15.4mm; width: 17.0mm; thickness: 13.6mm; thickness of rim: 0.6mm. Weight: 1.96g.

An incomplete post-Medieval copper-alloy mount (1600-1700). This mount is convex at the front and flat at the rear. It is sub-rectangular in plan and the centre is rebated or stepped to form a hexagonal raised centre piece. At each end there is the remains of an integral spike which is sub-rectangular in cross-section. This mount is drab reddish brown with flecks of a green patina. Height: 26.0mm; width: 9.6mm; thickness: 3.0mm; thickness including spikes: 11.3mm. Weight: 4.16g.

Incomplete Roman gilt copper alloy composite plate brooch, with the spring and pin missing. It is constructed from three elements, a disc, five spokes and a central convex-headed rivet, with on the reverse of the disc a single pin lug and rivet, both incomplete. One speck of gilding remains. The form is close to an example from Norfolk (Hattatt 2000, fig. 224, no. 550), which is made from two parts only. Diameter 23mm. A fragment from the handle of a ceramic wheel thrown vessel of probable later medieval date (1350-1550). This fragment is part of a rod like handle from a jug. The hard fabric is smooth where the original surface exists, but coarse where the surface is damaged. It is likely that the surface has been burnished. The fragment is a dull orange (oxidised) colour with a grey (reduced) core revealed where abraded. The fabric is mica rich with large angular grog and coal measure grit inclusions. Bronze Age (-1000 to -800) blade fragment: The cast copper alloy blade fragment is a pointed oval in cross-section with smooth curve on both surfaces and a very slight mid rib on both faces. The breaks arcoss the blade are not old, but not too recent. The surface of the blade has a heavy mid green patina which is slightly pitted. It measures 18mm long, 15.09mm wide, 4.1mm thick. It weighs 4.41 grams. It is probably a fragment from a sword or rapier of the Late Bronze Age date.

Post Medieval (1558-1603) square coin weight: The weight is square in plan and rectangular in section. It is stamped on both sides, one has an angel - St Michael - in full plate armour spearing a dragon. The other has a [ ]S, surmounted by V D, which is surmounted by a crown. The surface of the mount is abraded and is very worn. It measures 10.06mm long, 9.71mm wide, 1.33mm thick, and weighs 0.71g. The coin weight is probably for a quarter angel dating to the Post-Medieval period, c. 1550-1625.

A copper alloy cloisonné enamelled butterfly brooch or pin head of modern date (1900-1950). The brooch is formed on a sheet of copper alloy with raised cells formed from wire and infilled with polychromatic enamels forming a technicolor polychromic effect. The exposed metal is a mid-brown colour due to corrosion whilst the reverse seems to have been treated by some form of lacquer - a small split pin holds the body to the decorated wings.
