Post-medieval copper alloy saddle pommel cap. Both halves are present, one lacking it lower parts, the other broken across a second attachment hole on the basal wing. Decoration comprises pairs of oblique engraved lines. The form is closest to that of Read 1995, no. 808. Height 64mm. Width 32.5 - 34mm. 16th - 17th century.

Incomplete Early Saxon copper alloy Small-long brooch of either Leeds 1945 trefoil-headed or cross potent type. All the edges of the headplate are missing, having suffered recent damage, and all below the upper end of the D-sectioned bow is missing (also a recent break). Near the present upper edge of the headplate there is part of a double horizontal row of crescentic punched impressions. On the reverse the single pin lug sits amongst traces of an iron spring. Extant length and width 33.6 and 25.7mm. Weight 6.98g. c.480 - c.500.

Incomplete Early Saxon copper alloy Small-long brooch of Leeds 1945 square-head (panelled) type, the lower parts of both sides of the headplate, the lower end of the bow and the footplate missing. The raised panel is decorated with a pair of fine engraved lines along its sides and top edge, while a line of crescentic punched impressions runs along the top edge and sides of the headplate. A rectangular panel forms facets at the top of the hollow-backed bow. On it there are two transverse engraved lines. On the reverse an incomplete single pin lug lies next to traces of an iron spring. …

Fragment of a Late Saxon copper alloy stirrup-strap mount of Williams 1997, Class A, Type 14, the cruciform upper part with the apex loop between three D-sectioned arms, the ends of which are decorated with transverse grooves. There is no zoomorphic element to this decoration. Extant height 22.2mm. Width 28mm. Thickness 5.4mm. 11th century.
