A Post Medieval copper alloy Tavistock penny token, dating to AD 1811. The Obverse depicts Prince of Wales feathers (three plumed feathers with a crown), and reads 'TAVISTOCK PENNY TOKEN' around the circumference. The reverse depicts an engine house and reads 'DEVON MINES 1811' around the circumference. It is possible that the engine house depicted on the Tavistock penny was one built in 1811 east of the river Tamar opposite Gunnislake, built by the Wheal Luscombe adverntures in 1811. A copper-alloy early-medieval strap-end dating to the 9th century AD with silver sheet plating. The strap-end is rectangular in form with a rounded section towards the attachment end, which is lost to an old break, and a moulded animal's head at the terminal end. The upper surface is decorated with silver sheet plating, which also survives in small flecks on the reverse. A complete Medieval lead personal vesica shaped seal matrix (c. 1200-1300 AD). The matrix consists of a pointed oval which is flat and rectangular in cross-section. The engraved central device suggestive of a bow and arrow. The central image is surrounded by an engraved pointed oval and the legend which reads '+S'EDMVND.WMDEX'. A Medieval copper alloy Seal matrix of c.AD1200-1400 date. It has a hexagonally facetted conical handle rising to a collar of a ridge between two grooves. The attachment loop which would have been above this point has been broken off by an old break. The circular die face is engraved a shield with a cross above which there is a hand holding a sword. The surrounding legend is very worn and can not longer be read.

A Post Medieval copper alloy possible ingot fragment. The material is dark grey- black in colour, giving the appearance at first that the material may be flint and that the item may be a gunflint. However, green corrosion (oxidisation) can be seen on some parts of the surface and the sides are rounded, giving the apperanace of having been cast rather than knapped. The object was originally trapezoidal in shape; part of the item has snapped and broken away. Length: 15mm; With 17mm; Thckness: 6mm.

A Medieval copper alloy Harness Pendant of probable 1200-1400 date. The pendant is formed of a central circular plate with a moulded shield shape in the centre which is decorated with three chevron groves. A Post Medieval copper alloy dress fastener, dating to c.AD 1600 - 1700. The dress fastener is oval in overall plan with a convex front-face. At one end is a rectangular apeture for attachment; at the opposite end is a smaller circular attachment loop. There are another two circular attachment loops on each side of the rectangular attachment end. The front face surface is decorated with a chequered pattern. The back face is convex and undecorated.
