A Post Medieval copper alloy double loop asymmetrical buckle frame. The buckle has a moulded knop at either side of the central strap bar and at each side of the rounded loop. The straight end has moulded decoration. The pin is missing. A similar example can be seen in Whitehead (1996), p 92, number 577. The buckle dates from c. AD 1575 to 1700.

A Post Medieval copper alloy single loop sub-rectangular buckle frame with recessed strap bar. The buckle has moulded foliate decoration on opposite sides. The curved end has a triangular notch for the pin rest, which has a decorative groove on either side. The pin is missing. A similar example can be seen in Whitehead (1996), p 28, number 146. The buckle dates from c. AD 1500 to 1650.

A Post Medieval copper alloy clog clasp, dating from c. AD 1700 to 1850. The clasp has a sub-rectangular main plate with three parallel rectangular perforations. The upper surface is decorated with a symmetrical curvilinear foliate design. One end of the plate has rounded corners and tapers into a narrow rectangular neck which curves backward and expands into a fan-shaped terminal. The reverse is flat and undecorated.

A Post Medieval copper alloy button, dating to the 17th century. The button is circular and has two flat faces. The front face is decorated with a grooved curvilinear sunburst pattern; there is a central dot within a circle and a further three circles with dots placed alternately on the curvilinear grooves. A grooved border runs around the circumference. The back face of the button is plain; traces of an integral loop remain. A similar button can be seen in Read (2005), number 137.

A Post Medieval copper alloy dress fastener, dating to c.AD 1600 - 1700. The dress fastener is oval in overall plan with a convex front-face. At one end is a rectangular apeture for attachment; at the opposite end is a smaller circular attachment loop. There are another two circular attachment loops on each side of the rectangular attachment end. The front face surface is decorated with a chequered pattern. The back face is convex and undecorated.

A possible Roman copper alloy sestertius dating from the first to second century AD. The item is very worn; the obverse bears feint traces of a head right, the reverse is worn smooth. A Post Medieval copper alloy possible ingot fragment. The material is dark grey- black in colour, giving the appearance at first that the material may be flint and that the item may be a gunflint. However, green corrosion (oxidisation) can be seen on some parts of the surface and the sides are rounded, giving the apperanace of having been cast rather than knapped. The object was originally trapezoidal in shape; part of the item has snapped and broken away. Length: 15mm; With 17mm; Thckness: 6mm.

A Post Medieval copper alloy Tavistock penny token, dating to AD 1811. The Obverse depicts Prince of Wales feathers (three plumed feathers with a crown), and reads 'TAVISTOCK PENNY TOKEN' around the circumference. The reverse depicts an engine house and reads 'DEVON MINES 1811' around the circumference.
