A fargment from a cast, copper alloy, harness pendant of probable 14th-century (c.1150 - c.1450) date. The fragment comes from the top of the pendant, and consists of the a pierced swivel loop, and the upper section of the pendant; the lower half is lost due to an old break. The shape of the pendant body is difficult to determine due to heavy abrasion and bending, but the top seems to raise slightly towards the loop, and the right corner is rounded so it was probably shield shaped.
