Thirty-four sherds of Roman greyware pottery, all body apart from two basal. Twenty-two are from the same vessel with narrow internal turning marks, sandwich fired with oxidised margins, buff interior and reduced exterior. Three other sherds are decorated with wavy combing. Weight 401g. Mid 1st - 4th century.
Found in clay filled linear feature cutting peat. Full details to be submitted in a report to the HER.

- 183 local unglazed, all body and basal apart from twenty-four rim, including four everted jar of Early Medieval Ware form. The remainder comprises bowl and jar, some of the former very late in the local unglazed tradition, probably of the first half 15th century. Weight 11.48kg.
- 3 glazed Grimston ware, two body with external lead glaze and one strap handle, weight 52g.
