Incomplete cast iron cauldron, more than half extant with a complete profile. One of two vertical angled handle loops or lugs, and two of three feet have survived. Three wires (horizontal ribs) encircle the wall and there are two flash lines. There is a pronounced omphaloid sprue in the centre of the sagging base. Height 240mm. Rim diameter 280mm. Maximum diameter 290mm. Wall thickness 2.5 - 4mm.The D-sectioned feet are 40mm long, 19.5mm thick and 27mm wide. The handle lug is round-sectioned (9 - 10mm diameter), 50mm high and 25mm wide.
