A copper-alloy spoon dating to the Roman period. The spoon possesses a mandolin-shaped bowl which is dished. The bowl has a blackened inner surface suggesting it may originally have been tinned. The The bowl in profile is dished and the apex has holes due to damage. The stem extends from the underside of the bowl and turns through 90 degrees creating a reversed 'C' shape in profile.
