A copper-alloy horse harness pendant of Medieval date. The pendant takes the form of a plain sexfoil with an arm extending vertically upwards at the top. This arm terminates in a loop which suspends the pendant within a larger frame of similar shape. This frame also has an apex loop, and this is contained within the slot of the remaining part of a suspension mount, where it is held in place by a bar.

The bow has an oval cross section; at the top, it flares to a sub-conical head with damaged pin attachment on the underside; the lower end of the bow tapers to a pointed foot. A moulded ring separates the upper two thirds of the bow from the bottom third.

Tinned cast copper alloy double-loop trapezoidal spur buckle frame with pointed ends, bevelled outside edge and semi-circular lobed protrusions at each end of the central strap bar. Within each protrusion is a punched annulet and the sides of the frame are also decorated with a row of punched annulets. The triangular ends of the frame are punched with pellets inside crescents, creating a floral effect. Incomplete cast copper alloy spur with a short neck that is circular in section, and decorated with one thick moulded collar, 5 mm thick, and one thin collar, 1 mm thick, between two concentric grooves. A copper alloy annular brooch dating to the medieval period. The brooch is complete and retains the pin, although the lower half of it is missing from an old break. The brooch frame itself has a flat base and sloping side to a crenellated top. There is a constriction within the frame for the pin. A similar brooch is illustrated in Egan and Pritchard (1991:251) no. 1317, where it is dated to between AD 1270-1350.
