An incomplete copper alloy vessel of medieval to post-medieval date. The fragment is the leg of a probable cooking vessel such as a cauldron. It is sub-triangular in section though tapers in diameter from a wide top to a worn, rounded base. The upper surface of the leg is slightly concaved where it would join to the vessel proper. The metal is a mid greenish-black patina and is worn. The object is 55.2mm long, 33.2mm wide, 28.3mm and weighs 132g. A silver finger-ring of roughly D-shaped cross-section. The interior of the band is smooth and the exterior has heavily worn engravings. Each shoulder is decorated with four closely spaced hatched lines on either side, projecting downwards (away from the bezel). Further along the hoop are smaller, fainter hatched lines, projecting upwards. An incomplete copper alloy casket key of medieval date. The key is small with a circular cross section. The circular bow extends from one end of the stem with a circular perforation. The opposite end of the stem terminates in a worn break with a bit projecting out at 90 degrees. The metal has a mid greyish-green patina and is worn. The key is 36.5mm long, 11.5mm wide, 3.6mm thick and weighs 4.3g.

A complete copper alloy strap end of medieval date. The strap end is comprised of two plates which are sub-rectangular in plan, tapering towards a curved terminal with a small knoped protrusion. The attachment end is biconcave with a centrally placed rivet. A second rivet is also present at the closed end. A forked spacer is present within the plates. The metal has a mid brownish-green patina and is worn. The strap end is 23.2mm long, 14.3mm wide, 2.7mm thick and weighs 3.7g. Similar examples are illustrated in Egan and Pritchard (2002), p.142, fig.93.

The space between the two plates is filled with soil. It is undecorated. The metal has a mid brownish-green patina and is worn. The strap end is 17.5mm long, 7.9mm wide, 2.7mm thick and weighs 1.1g.

A complete copper alloy buckle of post-medieval date. The buckle is a double looped asymmetrical shape with moulded decoration on the loops. The outer edge of the rectangular loop bears six lobed knops and two further knops are also present at symmetrical points on the outer edge. Lobed protrusions also project from either end of the strap bar. The pin no longer remains. The metal has a shiny grey patina and is worn. The buckle is 24.8mm long, 19.2mm wide, 2.4mm thick and weighs 2.7g. A similar example is illustrated in Whitehead, p.92, no.577 and is dated to circa AD 1575 - 1700.

A complete copper alloy halfpenny trade token of post-medieval date. The token was issued by Barthol Anderson, master of a merchant vessel and mariner in Bridlington. Obverse: BARTHOL ANDERSON around shield with three five-pointed stars around chevron. Reverse: IN BRIDLINGTON KEY around HIS//HALF//PENY. The token is 18.4mm in diameter and weighs 1.4g. The coin was broken roughly in half at time of discovery though broke in half again subsequently. It has been sellotaped together by the finder and cannot be removed safely due to its fragility.

A copper alloy sterling bust jetton of medieval date. The jetton was issued during the reign of Edward I and is of the bust/key type dating to circa AD 1302-1307 based on the obverse die of Class 10 pennies. Obverse: Crowned bust facing within circle; border of pellets and crowns. Reverse: Key flanked by 6-pellet clusters; border of pellets. A small circular recess is present at the centre of the obverse and possibly represents an abandoned attempt at piercing. A parallel can be seen in Mitchener (1988), p.99, no.111.

A fragment of a copper alloy finger ring of Post-Medieval date. The finger ring is large with a circular hoop and rectangular section. The hoop widens to form an integral rectangular bezel which is engraved with an elaborate letter "B". The outer surface of the hoop is also engraved with elaborate though worn foliate designs. The interior of the hoop appears undecorated. The metal has a dark brown patina and is worn. The ring is 28.8mm in diameter, 13.3mm wide, 2.4mm thick and weighs 14.3g.

A complete lead spindle whorl of medieval to post-medieval date. The spindle whorl is bi-conical with a central perforation running through it. Both surfaces are decorated with raised lines radiating from the central perforation resulting in irregularly sized trapezoidal cells each with between two and three pellets within. A small section of the edge has been lost to an old worn break and the perforation is filled with earth. The metal is a mid whitish-brown colour and is worn.
