A base sherd from a Late Roman pedestal-base colour-coated beaker, probably from the Nene Valley kilns. The surviving lower wall of the vessel angles steeply upwards from a discoidal base, terminating at the top in an irregular, lightly abraded, break. The fabric is off-white and the slip is dark grey, with areas of brown.

An incomplete strap handle from a medieval pottery jug. The handle's straight sides diverge towards the top, where there is an inverted-triangular arrangement of four linear stab marks, probably made by the tip of a knife. The sandy fabric is light pinkish-orange and the surfaces display occasional speckles of a clear glaze. The handle has broken at both the top and bottom ends.

Part of the base of a medieval jar or jug. Just under half of the originally circular base survives.The junction between this base and the remaining portion of the vertical wall is marked by the impressions of dragged fingers. The fabric is light pinkish-orange in colour and has no visible inclusions. The broken edges show little sign of abrasion.
