An unpatinated flint flake of Later Prehistoric date. It is struck from a blue black glassy flint. It has an obtuse striking platform with a prominent bulb of percussion and strongly defined concentric ripples on the ventral face. There is crude steep flake removal at the distal end on the dorsal face, perhaps indicating that this flake was used as a crude scraper. Circa 40% cortex remaining on the dorsal face. This flint measures 54.84mm in length, 36.89mm in width, 12.52mm in thickness, 24.51g in weight.

An incomplete copper-alloy purse bar of Medieval to Post-Medieval date. Only one terminal knop and part of the arm survive, the remainder of the object is now missing due to old breaks, now worn. The surviving fragment of the arm is oval shaped in section and extends to the integrally cast knop. This is globular. The outer edge is decorated with two circumferential grooves. The top is decorated with a central deep longitudinal(?) groove. The front face is decorated four sets of three transverse grooves, two on the outer edge and one on the upper and lower edge. The back face is flat and undecorated. An incomplete Roman copper alloy umbonate brooch. It is flat, circular, and decorated with two bands of triangular cells surrounding a central pellet-in-ring. The bands alternate between recessed enamelled cells and cells of reserve metal. All enamel is lost. A narrow fragment of an additional band was found with it, though it is unclear whether this formed a third band, or whether it is a fragment of a second brooch. The fittings on the reverse are missing.

Thumbnail scraper made from an old [probably Neolithic] struck flake which had already endured sufficient exposure to promote a thick patina.
