A n incomplete copper-alloy vessel escutcheon/handle attachment, probably dating from the Roman to Medieval periods. The top end survives of what appears to have been a shield-shaped attachment plate. This plate has a slight curvature which would have helped it to fit to the wall of a metal vessel. The lower end has been lost in antiquity. At the top is an integral loop, set at 90 degrees to the plate. This loop has a short gap at one point and is of D-shaped cross section.

A copper-alloy ring of uncertain date and function. The ring has a wavy profile and is of oval cross section. At two opposing points the outer surface has corroded away, revealing the core. This ring appears too delicate to have been from a harness, so another, lighter, function seems likely. It may have served as a crude buckle or brooch.
