A copper-alloy anthropomorphic mount probably of Medieval date, AD c. 1200-c. 1450. See PAS record IOW-51C294, CAM-0844F1 & WILT-43A071. This mount, in the form of a human head with trefoil hair or headdress, was probably cast and then details emphasised by incised grooves. Initial observations suggest the artefact is symmetrical however closer study reveals that while an attempt to suggest symmetry may have been the craftsman's intent this was not applied with any level of precision. A medieval to post-Medieval copper-alloy thimble. A groove and plain band extend around the bottom edge of the thimble; otherwise, the near-vertical walls are covered with circular indentations. At the top, the sides of the thimble are less steep, and there is a plain crown at the apex.

A copper-alloy bell of probable medieval to post-Medieval date. The chamber is sub-conical, having slightly cocave sides, a change of slope near the top, and flaring outwards to form a flat rim at the base. The rounded apex loop displays signs of wear, and there is a circular depression at the top of the inside of the chamber, which is probably a point of attachment for the now-missing clapper.

Medieval copper alloy seal matrix, circular with a hexagonally faceted handle with an elaborate collared terminal in which there are six round apertures. A shield, surrounded by three sprigs, bears a heraldic device: A crescent between two mullets of six points in chief and one in base The legend reads MAERGRIETE WOVTREIS and is followed by a sprig filler. The name is probably Flemish. Diameter 21.5mm. Height 33.6mm. 13th - 14th century.

Copper alloy horse harness pendant. Quatrefoil shaped with an angle between each of the lobs and a loop at the top. The design on the face is a lion passant surrounded by red enamel in a box, within each of the lobs of the quatrefoil is a trefoil foliate design, these are also enamelled but the colour is indeterminate as the artefact appears to be dipped in oil.

An incomplete cast copper-alloy mount, possibly for a box, harness fitting or similar, of Medieval date. One terminal end survives the remainder now missing due to old breaks. A cast copper-alloy probable harness pendant of Medieval date. It is in the form of an inverted fleur-de-lis, with oval suspension set at right angles to the plate of the plate. The two side fleurs are steeply curved with small globular knops on their ends, positioned either side of a central lozenge-shaped fleur. A lead alloy pilgrim's ampulla dating from the Medieval period, about AD 1250 - 1500. The ampulla is of the familiar miniature phial shape but the top of the eck and the handles are missing. The top of the neck has been cut off on an oblique angle, probably when it was opened to use the contents. The obverse is decorated with a lis set within a circle. The lis is very thin and spacious, rather than the traditional close, neat fleur-de-lis seen on other ampullas. A cast copper-alloy strap loop of Medieval date. It has an oval frame that is triangular in cross section and has a narrow rectangular bar at the attachment end. At the opposite side of the frame is a rectangular collar from whcih projects a large globular knop. The entire object measures 18.13mm in length, 11.12mm in width, 4.19mm in thickness, and 1.20g in weight. This is a strap fitting or loop of Medieval date with an identical parallel noted from London (Egan and Pritchard, 1991: no. 1192). It is of probable c.14th century AD date.

Incomplete plate and part of the spacer from a Medieval copper alloy buckle with integral forked spacer. The buckle frame is completely missing but one complete fork of the spacer and part of a second survives. The complete fork has a thickened end that formed the inner side of the buckle loop and part of the thinned bar for the pin to hinge on. After these remains of the buckle loop the fork is rectangular in section and thins where it would originally have been covered by the plates.
