Just over half of a copper-alloy double-loop buckle of post-Medieval date.
The intact side of the frame is sub-pentagonal in plan, the axis bar having a rounded lobe at either end. The widest part of the frame is the pin rest, located at the right-hand end. The buckle has flat surfaces, bevelled edges and a possible white metal coating.

An incomplete cast copper-alloy double-looped buckle frame of Post-Medieval date. It has rectangular frames that are rectangular in section with expanded outer edges set at an angle of 45 degrees to the plane of the frame, one now incomplete due to old breaks. The frames are separated by an integrally cast bar that is oval in section. A complete copper alloy single loop buckle frame and pin, of Medieval dating (AD 1250 to AD 1500).
The buckle has a sub oval frame, with an expanded outside edge. The strap bar is narrowed. The pin has been made from a triangular piece of sheet copper alloy metal. It has been wrapped around the strap bar. The pin narrows to a blunt point.
The buckle measures 13.5 mm in length, 8.6 mm wide and 2.9 mm thick. It weighs 0.5 g.

A cast copper alloy tool, possibly a wedge or punch, of unknown date, possibly Roman or Medieval. The artefact is formed from a sub-rectangular bar, one end has been hammered to form a wedge, and this part is distorted. The worked edge has not been sharpened. There is no decoration present, however there are some diagonal file marks suggesting some form of finishing after casting. The worked edge measures 6.46mm in width and is 1.49mm thick.

A 19th-20th century modern replica of a silver penny of Aelfred Rex, which has been turned into a pendant by means of a nicely produced loop with rivet. The obverse depicts a helmeted bust facing left similar to London Monogram types, but is left facing, rather than right, with the addition of a sword behind his head. The reverse is unlike any known examples from the Early Medieval period, but likely to be an imitation of a fourth century Roman nummus reverse type, depicting Victory on the prow of a ship; a reverse type linked closely to the House of Constantine dynasty.

A cast copepr-alloy buttyon of Post-Medieval date. It has a dome-shaped head with flat back and slightly conical front face, at the centre of which is a single, small projecting knop. At the centre of the back face is an integrally cast sewing loop. This is circular in form with central circular aperture. The entire object has worn surfaces and measures 12.83mm in length, 11.17mm in width/diameter, and 2.25g in weight. This button is of Post-Medieval date, c.16th-17th centuries AD.

A complete copper alloy Strap Fitting or Mount of the Medieval period (AD 1300 - AD 1400).
The fitting is irregular in plan and sub rectangular in cross section. It is slightly concave on the reverse side. The irregular plan consists of a quatrefoil with sub triangular knops in each tressure (corner). It is usually known as a Heraldic Style Mount. The decoration on the obverse has been worn away. An incomplete copper-alloy rectangular two piece strap end of Medieval date. Only one plate survives, the remainder of the object is missing due to old breaks, now worn.
It is flat with a rounded terminal. At the attachment end are two V-shaped notches and two circular rivets holes. Both faces are undecorated.
This strap end measures 43.48mm in length, 17.81mm in width, 0.90mm in thickness, 2.97g in weight.
There is a similar example from London (Egan and Pritchard, 1991, p. 133, no. 609).

A complete medieval cast copper-alloy and enamelled heraldic harness stud (c. 1307-1324). The front face of the pendant carries an enamelled heraldic device comprising four transverse bands in blue enamel, with five red birds or martlets fairly evenly spaced around the plate, the silvering in between now missing due to post-depositional corrosion. However, a small fleck of decayed silver survives.
At the rear, an integral tapering spike is sub-square in cross-section and its tip is bent at an angle of 90°. The metal is drab green with tiny areas of corrosion.

An incomplete copper-alloy rectangular buckle plate of folded sheet type of Medieval date. Only part of the attachment end survives, the remainder of the object is missing due to old breaks, now worn.
It is flat with a pair of U-shaped notches on the outer edge of the attachment end. At the attachment end is a pair of circular rivet holes, one still contains a separately cast copper-alloy rivet with a flattened round head. The outer edge of the attachment end has a pair of U-shaped notches.
This buckle measures 20.10mm in length, 17.51mm in width, 0.77mm in thickness, 1.13g in weight.

A cast copper alloy handle from a late Post Medieval candle holder, chamber stick, or saucer candle stick, probably dating from the 18th or 19th century. The object comprises a loop with a flat sub-rectangular plate integral at the top and a short pointed projection at the bottom. The loop is sub-rectangular in cross-section. With the forefinger through the loop, and the thumb resting on the plate, the projection comfortably rests against the second finger. An incomplete copper alloy finger ring with moulded decoration, of medieval dating (AD 1200 to AD 1500).
The finger ring consists of a copper alloy hoop with moulded decoration. It has a D shaped cross section with a prominent ridge on the external surface. This central ridge is 2.6mm wide and is flanked by two parallel recessed incomplete edges. The central ridge demonstrates a regular pattern of short vertical incised grooves.
The internal surface of the ring exhibits a large number of file marks. No inscription appears to be present.

A fragment of cast copper-alloy metal working debris of uncertain date. It is triangular in form and section, terminating on at least two sides in old breaks. A complete but worn copper-alloy spur buckle plate of folded sheet type of Medieval to Post-Medieval date.
The frame end has a central rectangular pin slot. From here the plate tapers to an expanded circular terminal with a central circular rivet hole. Beneath the pin slot is a worn transverse ridge either side of a circular rivet hole which pierces the front and back plate.
This buckle measures 33.51mm in length, 10.22mm in width, 3.02mm in thickness, 2.37g in weight.
There are similar examples recorded on the PAS database (LVPL-BEE6C4), (NLM-7D0912).
