Cast copper alloy rim fragment from a bowl or cooking vessel with an internally bevelled rim that is triangular in profile and flush with the upper edge of the vessel. The body of the vessel curves downwards slightly to suggest a reasonably deep straight-sided bowl or a deep straight-sided everted rim, as seen on cauldrons, and the curvature of the rim suggests a diameter of about 280 mm. The bevelled rim itself is 5 mm thick which then tapers to the body which is 3.6 mm thick. There are patches of burnt organic material on the exterior of the fragment, which suggests that the vessel …

Within this, on the same side, are further incised lines which could represent foliage. There also appears to be a partial maker's mark of 'M&' in the centre. The reverse appears plain. An incomplete sheet copper-alloy handle attachment from a strainer or skimmer of probable late-Medieval to early Post-Medieval date. An incomplete Early Post-Medieval (1500-1700) hooked tag, consisting of an incomplete openwork plate and a rectangular loop. The hook is missing. It measures 17.19mm in incomplete length, 14.96mm in width, 1.67mm in max.thickness and weighs 1.19g. Flanking the rectangular loop (internal measurement 11.21x3.16mm) is a wide (7mm), concave cross-sectioned groove. A worn copper alloy post-medieval token, formed from a halfpenny of George II (AD 1727-1760). The coin has been clipped to form a serrated edge around its circumference, and nearly all detail has been removed or worn away - one can just make out the left facing bust of George II. On the reverse of the coin the initials W K have been incised. Tokens were a common occurance from the 17th century, some lead tokens being crudely made while other copper alloy tokens were manufactured to much higher standards. The clasp is near-complete, with some peripheral loss (with a length of 67.9mm, a depth of 5.3mm and a weight of 15.8g). A post-Medieval double-loop buckle which is largely made of copper alloy. The frame is of flat section and is sub-rectangular in plan, having rounded corners and inward-bowing top and bottom sides. Contained within opposing holes at the centre of the frame is the iron axis bar. This bar serves to attach a tongue-shaped copper-alloy plate and also the pin. There is ascallop-shaped pin rest at the centre of both the right- and left-hand ends of the frame.
