A post medieval copper alloy object comprising a loop and shaft. The shaft ends in a wide circular collar below which is a pierced projection. The oval loop is decorated with cast knotwork or foliate shapes. The purpose of this object is uncertain but it may have functioned as a handle, perhaps for a drawer.

A large post medieval cast copper alloy toy cannon measuring 87.44mm. The chase tapers lightly and the muzzle is straight rather than flaring. There is a pair of prominent trunnions on the moulded reinforcement ring. The cascabel is rounded with prominent collars and ends in a substantial knob. The vent is presently plugged.

A cast lead alloy toy cannon dating from c1700-c1850. The cannon has a prominent moulding seam which runs across the paired trunnions (one is now missing) and their reinforcing ring. The muzzle is slightly flared and has a collar set a short distance behind it. The cascabel is angular with a square section and the vent, which is filled with iron corrosion, is at the terminal set in line with the body of the cannon.

A cast copper alloy tapering cylinder measuring 68.29mm in length. Near the wider end is a goup of three cast and rounded chevrons. Within the chevron group is a small circular countersunk hole. Remains of a white metal coating survive on the surface. The purpose of this object is unclear. It has the appearance of the spigot for a barrel tap but the lack of any grip to prevent the spigot turning in the wood argues against this interpretation.

A copper alloy early medieval strap end. The strap end is pointed and the bifurcating attachment end is largely missing. The zoomorphic head is debased; the ears are behind the head and are formed from four C shapes. The body is decorated with a single panel which is infilled with a grid arranged diagonally.

A copper alloy early medieval strap end dating to the 9th century. The strap end has a debased head with the ears behind; the neck is slightly waisted. On the curving body is a six-sided panel which contains a sinuous interlacing beast whose tale ends in a scroll and whose head looks forward to the left, the mouth agape. A leg and foot can be seen adjacent to the lower part of the frame. The decoration has been inalid with what appears to have been niello, though now rather degraded. The bifurcated attachment end is a little broken.

A small cast copper alloy gilded mount in the form of a dog (or lion), naturalistically rendered, standing on a pedestal. The dog faces left with the head turned to face the viewer. Two silver coins, late issues of the Amirs of Sind, probably of the ruler Ahmad or imitations thereof. They were produced in the early 11th Century. Coin 1: 0.28g, 8mm Coin 2: 0.30g, 7mm The coins originated from the area of modern day Pakistan. It is extremely unlikely that they would have circulated so far at the time they were in use, and their transportation to Britain probably did not take place before the second Anglo-Maratha War (1802-3) when the East India Company first established itself in regions where these coins are found.
