An Early Medieval silver penny of Archbishop Wulfred (AD 805-832), dating c. AD 810. This is a group II, transitional monogram type coin. The obverse depicts a tonsured bust facing within inner circle. The inscription reads [WULFREDI AR]CHIEPI[SCOPI]. The reverse has the monogram of DOROBERNIA in the centre. The inscription reads SAE[BERHT] MONETA, indicating Saeberht as the moneyer. The coin would have been minted in Canterbury. North Volume I (1980, no. 240). A complete but slightly distorted silver stud fastener, possibly a cuff link or button of Post-Medieval date. The object consists of two sheet plates of silver joined together at the centre of each reverse by an integral shank. A knapped flint rounded scraper of probable Neolithic or Early Bronze Age date (c. 4000-1000 BC). The flint is a primary flake and is dark brown in colour; the dorsal face is almost entirely covered with cortex. The distal end and both sides have been shaped with short, scaled, semi-abrupt and crossed abrupt retouch. The scraper is 70.7 mm in length, 39.3 mm wide, 16.6 mm thick and weighs 46.8 g.

Post Medieval cast copper alloy mount with integral rivets. The front is flat and plain and in the shape of a five petalled flower with prominent sepals between the petals. The back is also flat with two integrally cast spikes for fixing the mount to a leather strap. The spikes are recangular in section, one ends in an old break and the other tapers to a sharp point and is bent over 180 degrees to one side. The mount measures 14.9mm diameter, 1.0mm thick excluding the spikes, 4.1mm including and weighs 1.29 grams. This mount probably dates to the 16th-18th centuries.

Medieval or post-medieval sheet copper alloy folded rivet, probably a repair for a copper-alloy vessel. The rivet is made from a roughly lozenge-shaped piece of sheet the ends of which have been folded in to meet in the middle and then back out; the portions bent back out are now lost to old breaks. There are traces of sooting on both faces. It measures 20.7mm by 11.0mm, is 2.6mm thick and weighs 1.30g. A similar rivet is illustrated in Egan (1998, p. 176, no. 489) and in Egan (2005,101) Fig: 87 where he suggests a long date range of c. AD 1100-1700.

The flake displays an angled striking platform of lenticular shape and a large bulb of percussion. There is short abrupt scaled retouch around the distal end, possibly for use as a scraper. Th flint is dark grey in colour and shows little patination. It measures 51.45mm in length, 49.77mm in width, is 16.95mm thick and weighs 47.39g.
