An incomplete stone macehead of Mesolithic to early Bronze Age date (c. 8500 - 1601BC). The macehead is made from a smooth waterworn quartzite pebble. The macehead is semi-circular in shape. Approximately 50% remains. There is a break across the centre of the peforation. The hourglass profile of the perforation indicates that it was worked from both sides. There is some evidence of pecking on the rounded edge of the macehead, indicating that it may have been used as a pebble hammer. The bracelet is made of silver wires twisted together to form an open hoop with solid terminals; diameter 65mm; weight, 44.32 grams. Non-destructive surface metal analysis conducted at the British Museum indicated a silver content of over 99% with traces of gold, lead and copper. The high purity suggests the bracelet is not of European origin, while the regularity of manufacture suggests it is probably made of machine-drawn wire in recent times. An incomplete Iron Age copper alloy pin, dating 500-200 BC. The pin is formed of a disc shaped head on top of a circular sectioned shank that tapers to the point. There is a ridge running around the edge of the head with a decorative rib above and below. On top of the ead is a recess in which a decorative material would have been placed, either enamel or coral, though it is no longer present. Late Bronze Age bronze tanged and collared chisel, probably of Ewart Park metalworking industry, corresponding with Needham's (1996) Period 7, dated to 950 - 750BC. The chisel is incomplete, missing the tang and with a little peripheral damage (with a surviving length of 34.1mm and a weight of 7.4g). A medieval cast copper-alloy buckle frame. The frame is oval, with an offset bar, the bar being distorted as a result of old damage. There is a grooved pin rest in the centre of the pointed outside edge, flanked to each side by a double moulding parallel to the groove; the mouldings project slightly beyond the outside edge, to the front of the buckle.
