Cast copper alloy rim fragment from a bowl or cooking vessel with an internally bevelled rim that is triangular in profile and flush with the upper edge of the vessel. The body of the vessel curves downwards slightly to suggest a reasonably deep straight-sided bowl or a deep straight-sided everted rim, as seen on cauldrons, and the curvature of the rim suggests a diameter of about 280 mm. The bevelled rim itself is 5 mm thick which then tapers to the body which is 3.6 mm thick. There are patches of burnt organic material on the exterior of the fragment, which suggests that the vessel …

A copper-alloy vessel mount, possibly from a large bowl similar to those of Eggers Type 96, 98, 99, 100, 102, 103 and 104 depicting a naked figure reclining under a tree, dating to the Roman period. An incomplete unidentified object, very similar to BH-CA39C0. It comprises an incomplete copper-alloy ring, circular in cross-section (c.3mm diameter) and with a double moulded collar to one side from which extends a circular-section spigot, apparently tapering to a point. It measures 15.77mm in length, 15.27mm in max.width and 6.57mm in max.thickness (at the collar). It weighs 2.42g. Of BH-CA39C0 the authors write 'The form of this piece suggests it was probably a swivelling handle attachment, probably from a Roman metal vessel'.

The interior surface has a single transverse groove, but there are no other signs of decorative elements. This fragment measures 41.12mm in width, 8.85mm in length, 3.53mm in thickness, and 5.07g in weight. A Medieval to post-Medieval cast copper-alloy cooking vessel leg/foot (c. 1250-c. 1650). This foot is roughly trapezoidal in plan and 'D'-shaped in cross-section. The breaks at the top enclose a small portion of the inner face of the vessel. The base of the foot is rounded. A small body sherd from a medieval ceramic vessel of unknown form. The sherd has an off-white fabric with frequent small grained inlcusions. The sherd is glazed in an olive green with a blackish stripe arranged vertically; within this stripe is a decorative device similar to a row of B's on top of one another, in an orangey slip. The glazing is limited to the external wall of the fabric. Probably a Brill-Boarstall highly decorative vessel of the mid-13th or 14th century AD.

A post medieval pottery sherd (AD1500-1800) from a vessel. The sherd is a fine, hard, reddish orange coloured clay, with no apparent glaze on either surface. The rim edge is triangular in section. There are two raised curls 30.3mm apart and 17.14mm below the outer edge, probably made by a thumb being impressed into the surface before firing.
