A cast copper alloy ring of uncertain date. The object is oval in plan and cross-section. The surface of the object is worn and uneven with patches of light green corrosion. There are no visible file marks. One side of the object is thinner due to wear against another connection. Plain rings of such proportions have often been suggested to be Medieval or Post-Medieval harness rings (Geake 2001, 74), though they are typically un-diagnostic. It has a mid-green patina.
