A cast copper alloy handle from a late Post Medieval candle holder, chamber stick, or saucer candle stick, probably dating from the 18th or 19th century. The object comprises a loop with a flat sub-rectangular plate integral at the top and a short pointed projection at the bottom. The loop is sub-rectangular in cross-section. With the forefinger through the loop, and the thumb resting on the plate, the projection comfortably rests against the second finger. A Medieval lead alloy pilgrim souvenir in the form of a candle holder, dating AD 1250-1300. The object has a round base with a flaring body that has three feet spaced evenly around. The feet are in the form of trefoils, resembling lion's paws. In the centre is a cylindrical socket which is pinched at the base. On the reverse there is a recess where the socket is, suggesting it was originally separate. There is some damage to the base and wear around the inscription.
