Cast copper alloy rim fragment from a bowl or cooking vessel with an internally bevelled rim that is triangular in profile and flush with the upper edge of the vessel. The body of the vessel curves downwards slightly to suggest a reasonably deep straight-sided bowl or a deep straight-sided everted rim, as seen on cauldrons, and the curvature of the rim suggests a diameter of about 280 mm. The bevelled rim itself is 5 mm thick which then tapers to the body which is 3.6 mm thick. There are patches of burnt organic material on the exterior of the fragment, which suggests that the vessel …

A cast copper-alloy Roman multifunctional eating utensil, dating to the second or third century AD. The handle is in the form of an elongated, crouching feline, probably a lion or panther, with front legs outstretched. The legs are set forward of and below the animal's head which has moulded ears, slight recesses for eyes and a groove showing the mouth. A copper-alloy vessel mount, possibly from a large bowl similar to those of Eggers Type 96, 98, 99, 100, 102, 103 and 104 depicting a naked figure reclining under a tree, dating to the Roman period. The object is asymmetrical and teardrop shaped in plan. In section, it is approximately hemispherical in section. The underside of the mount is slightly convex and has a rough, scored surface, with traces of a white substance, possibly lead solder, attached to it.

An incomplete cast copper-alloy buckle, probably a spur buckle, of Medieval date. It is in two joining fragments and is missing its pin due to old breaks. A cast copper-alloy stud or rivet of uncertain Roman or later date. It has a dome-shaped head that has flat back and rounded front face, which is slightly faceted around its edges. At the centre of the back face is an integral shaft that is square in section and tapers to a sharp point. The entire object has a dark brown patina with some pitting in places. It measures 11.98mm in diameter, 12.67mm in height, and 1.70g in weight.

An incomplete cast copper-alloy double looped buckle frame of Post-Medieval date. One loop is mostly incomplete and the pin is missing due to old breaks. The surviving loop is oval in form and section, with an oval sectioned bar that has slight notches at each end separating the two frames. It measures 16.20mm in width, 14.45mm in length, 2.93mm in thickness, and 1.78g in weight. This buckle is of Post-Medieval date, c.16th-17th centuries AD.

A fragment of late early-medieval (1000-1100) copper alloy bridle cheek-piece of Williams Type 2. It consists of long tapering projection ending in a rounded knob, and at the other end extending into an openwork design of three narrower projections around two semi-circular holes. The breaks at each arm are worn and old.

A copper alloy early medieval strap end dating to the 9th century. The strap end has a debased head with the ears behind; the neck is slightly waisted. On the curving body is a six-sided panel which contains a sinuous interlacing beast whose tale ends in a scroll and whose head looks forward to the left, the mouth agape. A leg and foot can be seen adjacent to the lower part of the frame. The decoration has been inalid with what appears to have been niello, though now rather degraded. The bifurcated attachment end is a little broken.
