A tinned copper alloy medieval buckle with integral plate dating to the period c. AD 1250 - 1450. The buckle frame is D-shaped and thickens on the outermost edge into a triagular projection which functions as the pin rest. This features a horizontal groove. The buckle frame features a knop on either side at the point where the pin bar is situated. One is complete and one is incomplete due to an old break.
