A knapped flint rounded scraper of probable Neolithic or Early Bronze Age date (c. 4000-1000 BC). The flint is a primary flake and is dark brown in colour; the dorsal face is almost entirely covered with cortex. The distal end and both sides have been shaped with short, scaled, semi-abrupt and crossed abrupt retouch. The scraper is 70.7 mm in length, 39.3 mm wide, 16.6 mm thick and weighs 46.8 g.

Post Medieval cast copper alloy mount with integral rivets. The front is flat and plain and in the shape of a five petalled flower with prominent sepals between the petals. The back is also flat with two integrally cast spikes for fixing the mount to a leather strap. The spikes are recangular in section, one ends in an old break and the other tapers to a sharp point and is bent over 180 degrees to one side. The mount measures 14.9mm diameter, 1.0mm thick excluding the spikes, 4.1mm including and weighs 1.29 grams. This mount probably dates to the 16th-18th centuries.

The flake appears to be natural and exhibits short abrupt scaled retouch around the edges, possibly for use as a scraper. It terminates in a hinged fracture. The flake retains no cortex and is light grey in colour. It measures 59.06mm in length, 46.48mm in width, is 10.64mm thick and weighs 32.91g.

An incomplete cast copper alloy rim fragment from a possible cooking vessel, dating from the Late Medieval to Post Medieval Period (circa AD 1400 - AD 1700) . About 5% of the rim remains and the vessel would probably have measured 28 cm (280 mm) in diameter. The rim fragment is irregular in plan and triangular in cross section. The fragment is gently curved when viewed from above, with a concave internal face and a convex exterior. Medieval or post-medieval sheet copper alloy folded rivet, probably a repair for a copper-alloy vessel. The rivet is made from a roughly lozenge-shaped piece of sheet the ends of which have been folded in to meet in the middle and then back out; the portions bent back out are now lost to old breaks. There are traces of sooting on both faces. It measures 20.7mm by 11.0mm, is 2.6mm thick and weighs 1.30g. A similar rivet is illustrated in Egan (1998, p. 176, no. 489) and in Egan (2005,101) Fig: 87 where he suggests a long date range of c. AD 1100-1700.

A flint retouched flake of probable late Neolithic or early Bronze Age date (c. 2700 - 1601 BC). The flake has been struck off a secondary flake and exhibits c. 30% cortex on the dorsal surface and <1% cortex on the ventral surface. The flake displays an angled striking platform of lenticular shape and a large bulb of percussion. There is short abrupt scaled retouch around the distal end, possibly for use as a scraper. Th flint is dark grey in colour and shows little patination. It measures 51.45mm in length, 49.77mm in width, is 16.95mm thick and weighs 47.39g.

An incomplete and bent copper-alloy spoon of Roman date. It is missing the majority of the bowl due to old breaks, now worn. The handle is a flattened D-shape in section with a flat back and rounded front face. It is undecorated and tapers to a point. The bowl is integrally cast and sub-circular before terminating in old breaks. This spoon measures 57.15mm in length, 15.32mm in width at the bowl, 3.93mm in width at the handle, 2.04mm in thickness, 2.85g in weight. There are similar examples from Colchester (Crummy, 1983, p. 70, no. 2008, 2014).
