A fragment of late early-medieval (1000-1100) copper alloy bridle cheek-piece of Williams Type 2. It consists of long tapering projection ending in a rounded knob, and at the other end extending into an openwork design of three narrower projections around two semi-circular holes. The breaks at each arm are worn and old. The object is trapezoidal in cross-section, being flat to the underside with several grooves and rough to the touch. An incomplete unidentified object, very similar to BH-CA39C0. It comprises an incomplete copper-alloy ring, circular in cross-section (c.3mm diameter) and with a double moulded collar to one side from which extends a circular-section spigot, apparently tapering to a point. It measures 15.77mm in length, 15.27mm in max.width and 6.57mm in max.thickness (at the collar). It weighs 2.42g. Of BH-CA39C0 the authors write 'The form of this piece suggests it was probably a swivelling handle attachment, probably from a Roman metal vessel'.

An incomplete Early Post-Medieval (1500-1700) hooked tag, consisting of an incomplete openwork plate and a rectangular loop. The hook is missing. It measures 17.19mm in incomplete length, 14.96mm in width, 1.67mm in max.thickness and weighs 1.19g. Flanking the rectangular loop (internal measurement 11.21x3.16mm) is a wide (7mm), concave cross-sectioned groove. Beyond this is openwork decoration with a circular hole at each corner and below and between a trefoil. The edges of this has worn breaks. An incomplete Roman (AD 50-150) copper alloy Colchester derivitive brooch with a spring mechanism, missing most of one wing, the foot and catchplate, and the spring and pin. The brooch measures 42.01mm in incomplete length and weighs 7.78g. All original patina is missing and all breaks are old. The wings are 'C' shaped in cross-section and span 19.48mm. A complete copper alloy single loop buckle frame and pin, of Medieval dating (AD 1250 to AD 1500). The buckle has a sub oval frame, with an expanded outside edge. The strap bar is narrowed. The pin has been made from a triangular piece of sheet copper alloy metal. It has been wrapped around the strap bar. The pin narrows to a blunt point.
