A sub-cuboidal piece of burnt flint/chert, possibly used as a prehistoric pot boiler. The surface is a greyish white with a crazed surface which is consistant with heating and rapid cooling cycles. Length: 47.09 mm. Width:38.24 mm. Thickness:29.49 mm. Weight:73 grams. FLO comment: The evidence for such stones having been used as pot boilers is limited, and it is possible that this is simply an accidentally burned stone.

A sub-ovoid piece of burnt flint, possibly used as a prehistoric pot boiler. The surface is a greyish white with a crazed surface consistent with the heating and rapid cooling of flint. A number of flint implements have been found in the immediate area dating from the Mesolithic: Neolithic and the Bronze Age. Length: 53.06 mm. Width: 36.51 mm. Thickness: 28.01 mm. Weight: 63 grams. FLO comment: The evidence for such stones having been used as pot boilers is limited, and it is possible that this is simply an accidentally burned stone.

A cast copper-alloy stud or rivet of uncertain Roman or later date. It has a dome-shaped head that has flat back and rounded front face, which is slightly faceted around its edges. At the centre of the back face is an integral shaft that is square in section and tapers to a sharp point. The entire object has a dark brown patina with some pitting in places. It measures 11.98mm in diameter, 12.67mm in height, and 1.70g in weight.

An incomplete unidentified object, very similar to BH-CA39C0. It comprises an incomplete copper-alloy ring, circular in cross-section (c.3mm diameter) and with a double moulded collar to one side from which extends a circular-section spigot, apparently tapering to a point. It measures 15.77mm in length, 15.27mm in max.width and 6.57mm in max.thickness (at the collar). It weighs 2.42g. Of BH-CA39C0 the authors write 'The form of this piece suggests it was probably a swivelling handle attachment, probably from a Roman metal vessel'.

A copper alloy fragment of a possible prick spur of uncertain date (possibly medieval to post-medieval - AD c.1100-c.1700), missing all but the goad and a length of the shaft connecting it to the back of the spur. Overall, the fragment measures 29.7mm long and 11.0mm in diameter. It weighs 6.11g. The goad is conical with a slightly flattened point. It measures 12.8mm long and 11.0mm in diameter. The shaft is circular in cross-section and measures 17.1mm long and 3.8mm in diameter.

A copper alloy Roman to medieval (AD c.43-c.1500) awl. Overall, the awl measures 48.3mm long, 5.5mm wide and 5.2mm thick. It weighs 4.69g. The awl is rectangular in cross-section for half its length and circular in cross-section for the other half. Each half narrows to a point. The rectangular cross-sectioned part would have formed the tang and would have been inserted into a handle and the other point would have been the functional end.

A fragment of cast copper-alloy metal working debris of uncertain date. It is triangular in form and section, terminating on at least two sides in old breaks. All surfaces are extremely worn, with only traces of a dark green/brown patina surviving. It measures 25.33mm in length, 14.87mm in width, 9.03mm in thickness, and 8.63g in weight. The precise function of this fragment remains uncertain. A cast lead spindle whorl of uncertain date, probably dating from the sixth to sixteenth century, AD 600 - 1600. It is of Coppergate type 1, having a circular, flat base and a domed upper surface. There is a central, circular perforation but no decoration. It is 27.8mm in diameter and 12.3mm high. It weighs 37.6gm. Whorls of this shape are illustrated in Rogers, P. W. 2007, Cloth and Clothing in Early Anglo Saxon England, page 25.

Three lead alloy possible gaming pieces of uncertain date. Each piece is circular in plan and is cylindrical. At the top and bottom of each piece, eight sub-triangular or wedge shapes are cut out of the face of the object, creating a sunburst pattern. The objects are decorated with vertical ridges running down their length. Two of the gaming pieces weigh 9.0g while the third with more rounded and worn edges weighs 8.3g.
