An incomplete copper alloy enamelled Roman zoomorphic plate brooch dating to the period c. AD 100 - 200. The brooch consists of a rectangular plate with an undecorated metal reserve border running around the edge creating a rectangular recessed field surrounding a raised metal reserve design in the shape of a hare or hound running to the right. The animal has a long muzzle, with the mouth indicated by a horizontal groove. The ears are long and angled backwards. Roman copper alloy trumpet brooch fragment, 43mm long and 11mm wide with a weight of 19.59grams. The object consists of a circular head which has a raised collar on its outer edge and faint traces of raised circles at each side (possibly triskele?). The reverse of the head has two bar like protrusions to hold a pin bar, now missing. The bow emerges from the centre of the head and retains a circular cross section down its length. An incomplete and worn copper-alloy annular brooch of Medieval date. Only part of the frame survives, the remainder of the object is missing due to old breaks, now worn. The frame is flat and curvilinear. The front and back face have grooved borders on both the inner and outer edge. Between these is a possible fictitious legend. Between each letter or symbol the brooch is decorated with shallow transverse grooves. This brooch measures 27.82mm in length, 6.28mm in width, 1.80mm in thickness, 1.48g in weight. An incomplete copper alloy Iron Age (400-200 BC) La Tène I type brooch which is missing its head, spring, and pin. It measures 39.5mm in length, 5.25mm wide (across the bow), 11.4mm deep (bow to catchplate) and weighs 2.97 grams. The head of the bow and spring are missing, the neck expands from the missing integral coil and projects outwards at a ninety degree angle to form the thickening bow. Early Medieval copper alloy bow brooch fragment, 45mm long, 35mm wide and 4mm thick. The brooch is in fair condition and weighs 24.37grams. The surface patina is odd with green, brown and sooty corrosion, perhaps suggesting the object has been exposed to fire? Early Medieval florid cruciform ? brooch fragment, 29mm long, 27mm wide and 4mm thick. The brooch is in fair condition and weighs 10.80 It has a green and brown surface with cracking which suggests it may have been burnt? The brooch consists of a triangular shaped head plate with a curved upper surface. This sits above the start of a curved bow, now incomplete. The head plate possibly has raised decoration in the centre representing a human face? The reverse of the head plate has a vertical scar where a pin housing would have sat.
