A complete but fractured post-Medieval cast lead or lead alloy mount (c. 1775-c. 1825). This mount is moulded at the front and uneven at the rear. The front is in the form of a crudely executed coat of arms and consists of a crest, mantling and an escutcheon. The rear face has the stubs of two imbedded iron spikes, one at each side. This mount is grey with traces of gilding at the front and the rear face is uneven and largely buff. Height: 40.1mm; width: 32.5mm; thickness: 4.1mm; thickness including stubs: 5.9mm. Weight: 16.95g.

A Post Medieval iron hooked mount or escutcheon, dating to the 16th century. The object is ovoid in shape with a small rounded projection at the widest end and a hook projecting from the narrowest end. There are two rivet holes, one at either end of the plate, both of which have the heads of the rivet and part of the shanks still in situ. Based on the curviture of the object it is likely from a vessel, with the hook pointing outwards. Medieval copper alloy mount cast in the form of a sexfoil with a central round aperture. The edges are chamfered and the reverse is flat. The centre of each foil is decorated with a punched dot. A heavy-duty piece (weight 13.05g) whose aperture seems too large (diameter 11mm) to have been involved in attachment. Diameter 32mm. Thickness 3.2mm. No close parallel noted. 13th - 15th century.

An unfinished Post Medieval lead alloy fitting, dating to the 16th century. The object is formed of a fleur-de-lys shaped plate with a rectangular tab below. Extending below the tab is a rounded projection which resembles a hing joint, though has no perforation for an axial bar. There is a four-petalled flower decoration on the outer face of the fleur-de-lys and a double line engraved on the rectangular tab. There is a bevelled edge running around the plate.
