A fragment of a medieval copper alloy strap end; the terminal is missing and the complete strap end would have been of composite construction. What survives is part of one plate which is slightly tapering and has a hollow attachment end with a circular aperture and two rivet holes. The plate is inscribed with a panel containing black letter script but this is difficult to read. What seems to be present are the letter lb[...]. The field between the letters is infilled with zigzags. The reverse is covered in file marks arranged diagonally.

An incomplete and broken pair of copper alloy tweezers, possibly of Roman or Early Medieval date. The tweezers are in two parts: one arm is complete with the curved loop, while the other has some length missing towards the loop end. The intact arm, and therefore the tweezers when complete, has a length of 58.58, with the broken arm measuring only 39.07mm. At the tip of each arm the gripping edge is bent inwards at a 90 degree angle. From this end towards the loop the arms taper from 7.14mm in width to 2.68mm in width. The tweezers are undecorated and weigh 4.49g.

An early post-medieval (1500-1700) copper alloy hooked tag, measuring 31.91x12.99x6.02mm and weighing 2.25g. The body of the tag is broadly trapezoidal with the hook protruding from the smallest edge of the body. The hook (which is flat in cross-section) curls back on itself. The wider end is in-curved with a V-shaped groove. Arranged vertically are two rivets holes (counter-sunk to the reverse), the one nearest the wider end retaining an iron rivet. All original patina has been lost and reverse is slightly concave. It is likely this object functioned as part of a sword belt assemblage

The fitting comprises a U-shaped strip whose fold is rounded and expanded, and which narrows in plan view. The two plates thus formed are 5mm apart and are pierced by two rivets each with a rounded head. The fitting is probably intended for a wooden board or a thick leather strip.

A fragment from a possible palstave of Middle Bronze Age date. It is rectangular with a prominent stop ridge and flattened sub-rectangular panels to either side which terminate in old breaks. On each outer edge are possible traces of a casting seam, but this is uncertain due to the preservation of the object. Some surfaces display evidence of burning.
