An assemblage of eleven pieces of debitage of Late Neolithic to Early Bronze Age date (c. 2700 - 1601 BC). The assemblage consists of ten flakes and one blade. They vary in length from 67.42mm to 30.88mm and in width from 52.13mm to 17.17mm. Their collective weight is 274.44g. Eight pieces retain between c. 5% and 35% cortex on their surface and have been struck off secondary flakes. The other two retain no traces of cortex and have been struck off tertiay flakes. A complete but fractured post-Medieval cast lead or lead alloy mount (c. 1775-c. 1825). This mount is moulded at the front and uneven at the rear. The front is in the form of a crudely executed coat of arms and consists of a crest, mantling and an escutcheon. The rear face has the stubs of two imbedded iron spikes, one at each side. This mount is grey with traces of gilding at the front and the rear face is uneven and largely buff. Height: 40.1mm; width: 32.5mm; thickness: 4.1mm; thickness including stubs: 5.9mm. Weight: 16.95g.

It measures 41.05mm in length, 14.05mm in max.width, 5.87mm in depth (at the hook; the plate is 1.34mm thick) and weighs 2.98g. The hook-end is 5.17mm in width where it extends from the plate, narrowing to 2.61mm at the end. Behind, the plate is parallel-sided and 10.49mm wide with moulded relief decoration of foliate form.
