Roman? copper alloy buckle plate fragment, 25mm long, 21mm wide and 2mm thick. The object is in fair condition and weighs 5.07grams. The object consists of a rectangular open frame which has slight rectangular projections (one missing) at each corner, The lower projection has a circular depression in its centre, which was presumably echoed in its the now missing pair. Early post medieval copper alloy buckle 29mm long, 20mm wide and 3mm thick. The object is in fair condition and weighs 5.62grams. The buckle has a double loop form with a central pin bar, either side of which, on eth outer frame is a small triangular protrusion. The frame has a lipped projection for the pin rest which is echoed on the opposite side.

An incomplete copper-alloy oval buckle frame of Medieval date, Meols Type 6. Only the expanded outer edge survives, the remainder of the object is missing due to old breaks, now worn. It is a flattened D-shape in section with a flat back and rounded front face. The inner edge of the front face is decorated with a longitudinal groove. The remainder is decorated with criss-cross grooves to form lozenge shapes in relief. The back face is undecorated. This buckle measures 14.99mm in length, 5.51mm in width, 2.33mm in thickness, 0.84g in weight.

An incomplete and very worn cast copper-alloy object, possibly a buckle frame of Medieval to early Post-Medieval date. The surviving fragment is rectangular in form, oval in section, with incomplete arms/sides at top and bottom that are mostly incomplete due to old breaks. The front face of the object has two deep rabbetts creating raised square panels at top, middle and bottom. It measures 40.79mm in length, 11.34mm in width, 7.77mm in thickness, and 15.13g in weight.
